Much to our disappointment, as of July 2013 the Saskatchewan College of Optometrists followed the Saskatchewan College of Dentists archaic example, and has disallowed Saskatchewan optometrists from applying and partnering with Trusted. The college has ruled that they believe it infers that ‘ Trusted Optometrists’ are ‘ better ‘ or ‘ more skilled’ than other optometrists in Saskatchewan.

We thought this was something worth discussing in an open forum and we appreciate all and any feedback

Please let it be noted that S & E Trusted Online Directories Inc has never said or implied that Trusted optometrists are better than others in their field. Trusted is simply a public service that provides local online directories and resource libraries. Trusted is a unique marketing vehicle for businesses as we have a unique set of pre –defined standards that must be reached before we are willing to partner with a business and promote them. Trusted bases our standards and verification on customer service, and we have never (and never will) claimed that we are medical or industry experts in any of the categories we have Trusted partner in. We very simply state that those who meet the Trusted standards and those that uphold the Trusted Guarantees are businesses we are comfortable listing and promoting. Also it should be noted that unlike all other reviews / testimonials you will find online, Trusted qualifies all testimonials by speaking to the individuals personally.

Advance Eye Care Centre in Regina passed the Trusted process as laid out and have been a wonderful partner,  sharing many helpful and important tips on eye health and care  in the last 12 months that can be found in the Regina resource library. We will miss them as partners , as we know that they truly embody the kind of business we look to partner with and they consistently demonstrate integrity and professionalism in all they do - we are happy to endorse them,  as they are wonderful representatives of the Saskatchewan Optometrist's industry.   

WE ARE KEEPING THEIR EYE CARE TIPS IN OUR REGINA LIBRARY SO THE PUBLIC CAN FIND THIS INFORMATION QUICKLY AND EASILY, 1000's of people have already read them and been helped by them so far.

We are saddened that the College refuses to acknowledge that Trusted benefits the public and having representatives on Trusted to educate the public on the importance of eye health/ care benefits all.

Trusted believes that businesses that demonstrate a commitment to provide EXCELLENCE in care and customer service in ANY industry ( medical or industrial) should be applauded and rewarded ..not censored, stifled and made to conform with the rest.
